"Kristin was my son's OT throughout his preschool years. She's a rare combination of professional, caring and nurturing. Patient, creative and pushed my son out of his comfort zone and he loved it. Kristin always made it fun for him while helping him grow and achieve his set goals. When it was time for my son to "graduate" from OT, Kristin gave us pointers on what to do at home to continue to keep him growing. It worked. Years later, my son is doing amazingly well, and I know it is in huge part thanks not to OT, but OT with Kristin. I could never have thanked her enough for the huge difference she made in my son's life. Beyond highly recommended"
"My son began seeing Kristin at the age of two after OT was recommended by his provider at Children's Hospital. He was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and was in need of OT and speech therapy. From the very beginning Kristin was able to really get my son and was able to challenge him while still being caring and nurturing to him. He continued to see Kristin until he was 6 years old and attending school full time. Kristin even helped provide information to his educators to help them with my son. Kristin was always a huge help and trusted advisor during a challenging time. I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was for myself and my son to work with Kristin. I truly believe he benefitted so much from the therapy and the time spent with her. Kristin is one of only a few people that I credit with making a huge impact on my son's life."
"Kristin Palen is such a joy to work with!! A very easy going and patient person. She explained to us about our son's difficulties in language we could understand. Our son enjoyed working with Kristin so much that he would almost always greet her with a hug and a smile. He doesn't offer that up that treasure for just anybody. The best thing is that our son improved tremendously since Kristin's first evaluation of him. We can not thank her enough for all of her hard work and efforts. Our son continues to improve thanks to Kristin and her early intervention efforts"
